THE SUNSTONE STORY

Sunstone Studios has been around in one form or another for a good few years but has only with in the last few years become semi-commercial.

Like many musicians I (that's me over there on the right) always wanted my own studio as a convenient medium for creating my own music so with the best intentions in the world i set about the task of building a small but workable studio.

Almost as soon as it was functional "work" came flooding in. The idea was that maybe if i just did a few jobs then i could afford a couple of pieces of nice kit, build the studio up a bit and then get back to making my own music.

In the time since building that first studio I have have produced, mixed, performed, edited and mastered hundreds of works for many artists and only managed to record 2 of my own albums (oh well!).

So with good intentions out the window it seems only right to offer the studio as a service (and thus assemble this website) and carry on doing it the Sunstone way.

JD has been a gigging musician around the North West for years. He plays with his 3 piece band all 3 cylinders and also performs withSteve Evans, Rebecca Rothwell and Cootha.
In between all this John finds time to run the studio and teach guitar.
